- High Speed (~30 min)
-Traditional (~1 Hour)
Cars are allowed with reservation

- 1.5 Hour

ARRIVE BY AIRPLANE

BLOCK ISLAND AIRPORT (BID)
New England Airlines from Westerly Rhode Island
-12 min flight
-departs every hour, every day

STEP 2:
GETTING TO YOUR FERRY OR FLIGHT

NEW LONDON,
CONNECTICUT

TRAIN
-Amtrack to New London
-5 min walk to Block Island Express Dock

DRIVE
-Paid parking is available at the Dock 
or Water Street Garage Deck

 

POINT JUDITH, RHODE ISLAND

TRAIN
-Amtrack to Kingston, RI
-20 min drive to Point Judith Ferry Terminal

DRIVE
-Paid parking is available at the
Point Judith Ferry Terminal


PLANE

-PVD Airport in Providence, RI
-40 min drive to Point Judith Ferry Terminal

WESTERLY,
RHODE ISLAND

TRAIN
-Amtrack to Westerly, RI
-8 min drive to Westerly State Airport (WST)

DRIVE
-Free terminal parking available at
WST Airport

 

YOU'VE MADE IT! 
TIPS FOR GETTING AROUND
BLOCK ISLAND 

Walk it out: Most hotels, restaurants, and beaches are within walking distance of each other in town.

Taxi: There are no Ubers or Lyfts on the island, but taxis are plentiful! 

Two Wheels: Bikes and mopeds are available for rent. 

Cars: If you want to bring your car, you can do so with an advanced reservation on The Block Island Ferry from Point Judith, RI.
