TIPS FOR GETTING AROUND
BLOCK ISLAND
Walk it out: Most hotels, restaurants, and beaches are within walking distance of each other in town.
Taxi: There are no Ubers or Lyfts on the island, but taxis are plentiful! Most Taxi's take credit card, but have cash on hand as well.
Two Wheels: Bikes and mopeds are available for rent.
Cars: If you want to bring your car, you can do so with an advanced reservation on The Block Island Ferry from Point Judith, RI.

The summer 2026 ferry schedules are now available!
Late June is a busy time on Block; if traveling by ferry,
please book your reservation as soon as possible.
Make sure you plan to arrive on the island by
5:00pm on Friday June 26th,
the Welcome Party kicks off at 6:30pm!
